1770's British Love Token on a copper half penny!
Nicely engraved on one side with the initials "MMWH" and on a high grade coin.
This may or may not have been what is called a "Convict Token". Many minor criminals were locked up on ships prior their transport to the Australian penile colony of Botany Bay. They were kept on the ships in England for months before they were shipped out and many of them engraved small denomination coins to their loved ones left behind.
