Services Offered
Auction Representation:
Because of our unique knowledge and insight into the early quarter & half dollar series, we are able to offer feedback on any auction lots that collectors may be interested in. In addition, we do the bidding for you. This is to ensure that coins are acquired at the best price available and this keeps "auction fever" from affecting your bidding. Together we will determine a reasonable price level to bid, or decide how far to stretch, to capture that special coin. We charge a nominal fee based on lots won for this service.
Appraisals:
Whether to help with the eventual dispersal of your collection, or to guide your heirs to understand what they have inherited, an appraisal of your collection just makes good sense. Even though a collector might be well versed on their holdings, a good unbiased appraisal is best accomplished by a knowledgeable professional. Having this task accomplished can give you peace of mind - and help protect your family. We charge a nominal fee based on the size and scope of each collection.

Inventory Management & Collection Focus:
This is perhaps one of the most needed requirements for many collectors. This is a combination of organization of the coins you currently own and defining the collecting goals you want to accomplish. If you don't have a plan, or even have a good grasp of what you currently own, buying additional examples may tie up valuable resources that need to be used to acquire those rarer items that seldom become available. If you aren't organized and prepared, you may never get another chance at some of the items you really want! We charge a nominal fee based on the size and scope of each collection.

Numismatic Research:
Our wealth of numismatic related books and auction catalogues spanning almost 200 years and 1000's of files and photographs of archival items from the early Mint (gleaned from the National Archives), puts us in a position to help with any and all research on early American coinage - especially those focused on early silver type. Pedigree information on rare or high grade examples; or information pertaining to the mintage laws; and actual delivery warrants for each series, are just some of the possibilities. A reasonable hourly rate is charged or an overall single project price can be negotiated.
