A few stray hairlines in the left obverse fields are the only evidence of an old light cleaning.
This die marriage is very interesting, as a bolt from the press fell into the coining chamber during striking causing damage to the dies. Eventually the die damage was lapped away, along with other details. This example is from just after the damage occurred.
